With a double Master’s degree in Geography and GIS (Geographic Information System), Sylvain Poulain has been providing expert GIS and Remote Sensing consultancy since 2006 across France, French Guiana, Reunion Island, Madagascar, Seychelles, Tanzania, and Mauritius. His expertise spans remote sensing, spatial analysis, LIDAR and point cloud analysis, drone data processing, IoT, sensors, GNSS (deploying his own GPS RTK base), automation, photogrammetry, AI, and machine learning, with a strong focus on Spatial Data Infrastructures (SDI), metadata standards, and open-source GIS solutions.

I have over 11 years of experience with drones since 2015 and have flown more than 750 hours.
